This Philips Vue PACS – DP (Display Protocol) course is an intensive 2.5-day certification workshop focused on the Philips Vue PACS DP implementation and administration which includes included hands-on exercises and lecture. You will be provided an individual PACS stand-alone system, a theoretical introduction, and practical demos and exercises. You will acquire a deeper understanding of the skills needed to become proficient on various tasks required to create successful Display Protocols.

After completion of this training, you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate how to work with the DP (Display Protocol) Editor.
  • Identify the DP Editor limitation and hidden assumptions and learn how to overcome them.
  • Demonstrate how to build a display protocol using the Save as DP Wizard and using the Display Protocol Editor.
  • Describe how to edit existing display protocols.
  • Recall the role that the procedure code table plays in creating display protocols.
  • Define how to create/modify the procedure code table.
  • Demonstrate where to find the procedure code table after it is imported into the system
  • Identify the grouping rules and how they are used in display protocols.
  • Recall where to find the Dictionary Maintenance Tool and how to run it.
  • Outline how to manage the information that is found after running the DP Repair tool to optimize the system.
