Register What you will learn Course description: Essential Views of Fetal Heart Screening is a 2-hour Virtual Speaker-Led Training course that will review the normal fetal embryology and circulation. The course will discuss the fetal heart views that the AIUM and ACR guidelines state should be included in the second trimester OB scan. These views include the 4-chamber view, left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) view, the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) view, the three-vessel view (3VV) and the three-vessel trachea (3VT) view. The participant will learn how to obtain these views using the “sweep technique” and how to determine if the views show normalcy of cardiac development. Each view will be discussed in detail. Currency: USDCourse objectives: Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to: Discuss fetal circulation and the two intracardiac shunts. Identify each chamber of the fetal heart and how it connects to its adjacent chambers. Identify what can go wrong at these connections. Discuss why the LVOT view is so important and how to correctly image it. List the order of the vessels seen in the 3VV from left to right and their normal size relationships, Explain the vessels seen in the 3VT view. Identify the location of the trachea in the 3VT view.
