Common pitfalls will also be explained to help reduce the likelihood of misinterpretation. This class offers a unique opportunity to focus on carotid duplex interpretation in an in-depth way. Attendees will review complex cases including correlative invasive exams that sonographers in particular do not usually see. Both physicians and sonographers who wish to sharpen their carotid pathology recognition and interpretation skills will benefit from attending this one-day course taught by Dr. Leslie Scoutt, Professor of Diagnostic Radiology from Yale University. Prerequisite skills: To fully benefit from this course, attendees should have carotid ultrasound basic interpretation skills experience.
